International students in Germany

How many international students are there in Germany? And where do they come from? Our social survey provides the answers. With our quiz we want to make the results available to the wider public - playfully and simply.

Unfortunately there's no prize, but you will be surprised by some of the answers.

Don't worry; most people who are not experts on the subject will have to guess the answers!

What do international students have the most difficulty with?

40% of international students have problems orientating in the German study system. About the same have problems with making contact with German students and financial difficulties. About 28% face language problems, 25% have problems with performance requirements.
